Youth Girls (Grades 13 - 16)
Youth football is a step up from junior football, with the exception of U13's who play 9-a-side, U14 - U16 youth play with full-sized fields, goals and 11 player a-side games. Youth squad teams consist of 16-18 players.
There are two types of teams in our Youth grades:
- Community Youth teams: for players who prefer to play a more social level of football and are not selected for the Talent Development Programme (TDP), our Community Youth teams play on Saturday morning. Grading games begin at the start of the season and players will be placed in a league that will deliver the best level of competition in a fun environment. These teams are typically coached by team volunteer coaches.
-
Talent Development Programme (TDP) teams: players are selected for the TDP programme and for the top teams for each youth grade. Players are coached by a dedicated professional coaches, which comes at an additional cost for players. Players selected for the TDP Programme in 2024 will have an opportunity to play against other clubs tops teams as well as in the community league as we navigate our way through the accreditation year (2024)
Our youth and senior programmes are designed to develop our players into passionate and skilled players in an enjoyable football experience. We cater to players who want to train and compete at the highest level and to those who want to play in a social environment. Regardless of the level, all sessions are delivered in a positive environment with an emphasis on development.

Girls Talent Development Programme
East Coast Bays AFC and Hibiscus Coast AFC have come together to deliver a Girls Talent Development Programme, providing a pathway for local youth players into a high-quality training process and access to the highest levels of competition and challenge in a year-round calendar of activity.
The Talent Development Programme (TDP) is aimed at girls aged 14 to 16 years, 2024 is serving as our accreditation year and will allow ECB and HBC the opportunity to complete the accreditation pathway, gaining access to the NRFL Youth Girls leagues in 2025.
The journey involves training, games, competitions, and branding efforts to foster player development and transition to senior football.

Should you register as a social/community player or competitive player?
Social teams are ideal for players who prioritize having fun, building friendships, and enjoying the sport without the pressure of intense competition. They're also a great option for beginners or those who may not have as much time to dedicate to training and games.
Competitive teams are suitable for players who are passionate about football, enjoy the challenge of competition, and are willing to dedicate time and effort to training and games. They're ideal for players seeking to improve their skills, compete at a higher level, and strive for success on the field.
