Honouring Wayne Edgeler

Following the tragic & sudden passing of Wayne Edgeler a much loved member who was passionately involved in the club as a coach, manager, trainer, grade convenor, referee, physio, and all around team motivator, Clair and the family have asked anyone wishing to make a contribution in his honour do so by donating on this Give a Little page, where all proceeds will be used to support the club's hardship fund. This has been set up to support families who are struggling financially and unable to afford to pay for football, as at East Coast Bays our mission is to ensure that no one misses out on the joy of our sport through financial hardship. His spirit lives on across many teams and grades at the club and our love and thoughts are with the family at this most difficult time.

How to Apply

Our club understands that we have members and people in our community who are finding times tough with increasing costs or changing circumstances. Our club is about community and inclusivity and we aim to ensure cost is not an inhibitor for players, so if cost is a barrier, please reach out to our Operations Manager Duane Sommerville for a confidential chat regarding payment plans and accessing this fund. A donation receipt will be issued upon request for any donation above $5.00.  You can claim 33.33 cents for every dollar donated to be credited against your taxable income.
