Welcome Ashleigh Taylor, Our New Operations Manager

We are thrilled to announce a new member of our team, Ashleigh Taylor has joined ECBAFC as our new full-time Operations Manager.  After an extensive search process, Ashleigh was selected from a strong candidate pool for her broad football administration background, excellent interpersonal skills and passion for the footballing community.  Ashleigh’s last position was as the Football Development Officer for Capital Football Federation, leading the Junior football programs across the region as well as organising the competitions for 6,000 Futsal players. Ashleigh is currently pursuing her NZF Senior B Coaching Licence and has had coaching, organisation, and communications experience with Auckland clubs.

Additionally, Ashleigh has also been appointed as our Women’s First Team Coach and will be at the forefront of developing and growing that program. This year East Coast Bays AFC we are starting a junior girls coaching program on Fridays and will continue the youth and women’s group development program, initiated last year. Girls and Women’s football is growing within our club and providing more opportunities in this space is a top priority for all of us.

Ashleigh’s football resume includes coaching a variety of womens and girls teams at Ellerslie AFC, Auckland City’s junior academy, the Top Flight Football Academy and as a Technical Analyst in the National Women’s League. She has completed her NZF C-licence and is currently completing her B-licence.  Ashleigh has also been the recipient of the 2018/19 Football Female Coaching Scholarship.
